X-Men: Children Of The Atom

X-Men: Children Of The Atom

X-Men: Children of the Atom is an arcade game developed by Capcom and released for the CP System II arcade system. It debuted in Japan in 1994 and also reached North America and Europe in 1995. The game, inspired by the X-Men comic series, was Capcom's first attempt to develop a fighting game featuring characters from the Marvel Comics. Coinciding with the popularity of the X-Men animated series in the mid-1990s, the voice actors from the series were integrated into the game, acting out their respective roles. Against the backdrop of the "Fatal Attractions" story from the comics, players take on the roles of various X-Men characters or their adversaries in the fight against the antagonist Magneto. The gameplay consists of one-on-one battles in which players compete against various characters in the game. The ultimate challenge is the battles against Juggernaut and Magneto.
