Wurm Online

Wurm Online is a unique, accessible online wilderness MMORPG that will sweep you away, shake you up, bite you, annoy you, drive you mad and make you wonder why you didn't discover it a million years ago! There are both PvP and PvE server clusters. On the Freedom PvE cluster, you can enjoy a peaceful life and get eaten by bears in the forest. On one of these servers, however, you also have the opportunity to get a taste of combat with other players. The Epic PvP cluster offers many opportunities to fight and compete with other players. There are also bears here, so watch out! You can transfer your account between clusters at any time, but skills and items will not be transferred but will be retained. Playing is very easy. Just sign up for free and then download the Java client and packs by clicking the Play! button on the website. Oh, you'll need Java, but there's a handy link for Java at the top right of the page. Java is of course platform independent, meaning you can play Wurm on Linux, Mac and even Windows!
