What Never Was is a short, story-oriented first-person game that is all about exploration and puzzle solving. Sarah must take on the tedious task of cleaning out her grandfather's attic, and soon discovers that not everything in the attic is as it seems.
Story
Sometime in the late 2000s, Howard James Wright - an old but kind man - dies, leaving behind not only many adventures, relics he has collected over the years and books, but also Sarah, his granddaughter. She has to take on the arduous task of clearing out her grandfather's attic and soon realizes that not everything in her grandfather's attic is as it seems.
