Warlords III: Reign of Heroes
Warlords III: Reign of Heroes is a turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy universe. The realm of Selentine has been overrun by the undead and a series of warlords are fighting to see who will take control of what remains of the world. Players must build armies to conquer cities and overwhelm their opponents. The game features 84 different unit types, each with different combat strengths and movement points. Players can use the randomizer to play individual games, there are 12 standalone game scenarios and a campaign mode. Diplomacy is possible and the player can choose from a number of different victory conditions: Last surviving warlord, most cities, most victory points, most money.
Story
Hordes of undead have overrun the realm of Selentine, leaving devastation and chaos in their wake. Now powerful warlords are rising up to fight for power and build a new empire. Zombies, skeletons and other unspeakable creatures battle heroes, warriors and mercenaries who are humanity's last hope. In Warlords III: Reign of Heroes, the player commands powerful armies led by heroes equipped with unique military skills. Through the use of superior military forces and the discovery of abilities that improve the attack and defense values of the heroes and the armies traveling with them, the player must destroy all enemies on the map until only his own remain.
