Story

The time of mortals is coming to an end, and the reign of chaos is drawing ever closer. The dark gods are finally united in a single purpose and unleash their madness on the world like never before. In the Empire of Sigmar, Karl Franz's eyes are fixed on the invasion of the savage Northmen, but that is not the only threat. As the chaos moon Morrslieb rises fully, shrill voices echo through the tunnels dug deep beneath the empire's cities, and an army of skaven swarm to the surface. They first emerge in the city of Ubersreik, a shrieking mass that devours everything before it. Soon Ubersreik is a corpse city, sinking into the vicious shadow of the Horned Rat. But even in the darkest of times, there are always heroes to light the way. As Ubersreik sinks into fear and terror, five heroes, united by the whims of fate, take up the fight against the rat-people. It remains to be seen whether they have the strength to survive, let alone work together long enough to defeat the invaders. One truth, however, is beyond doubt: should these five fall, Ubersreik will fall with them.
