War Of The Monsters
Get ready to embody the soul of a 30-meter tall monster as you take on opponents in thriving cities, run through busy streets, pulverize enemies with body slams, and fend off military defenses. In War of the Monsters, you can relive your favorite monster movies with ten different creatures engaging in outright carnage. Ten fully interactive environments feature numerous weapons, including steel beams, radio antennas, moving vehicles, building debris, army tanks and more. Knock down your enemies with thunderous uppercuts, melee weapons and destructive special attacks. Use huge debris as shields, topple buildings onto your opponents, or pick up tanker trucks and throw them like toys. Take advantage of environmental attacks like tidal waves and earthquakes to defeat your opponent and gain total domination.
Story
The plot takes place in the 1950s, when a fleet of alien flying saucer warships invades Earth and causes massive damage. The nations scientists manage to develop a series of secret weapons that, when activated, trigger shockwaves that short-circuit the saucers and cause them to crash. Unfortunately, each flying saucer is fueled with a green radioactive liquid that leaks from the destroyed ships as they crash. As a result, the fuel infects creatures, humans and robots, and triggers a war between the monsters. The player takes on the role of one of these monsters and fights the others in fictional cities around the world and in the remaining UFOs.
