Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble

Story

"Red Hot Rumble" is a party brawler whose characters and comic-book flair are drawn from the "Viewtiful Joe" series and its accompanying animated series. The story is presented as a movie shoot. The eccentric director Captain Blue is working flat out on his latest film and comes up with an original idea for casting the lead role: Instead of a simple audition, he organizes a full-fledged fighting tournament in which the series’ colorful heroes and villains face off against each other to decide who is worthy of the lead role. But as the contestants clash on chaotic, cinematic stages, things begin to go awry on set. Unauthorized props and equipment appear out of nowhere, and increasingly strange and dangerous incidents threaten the safety of the assembled cast. What begins as a lighthearted competition for the spotlight gradually reveals a mysterious force at work behind the scenes, and Joe and his fellow contestants must fight their way to the truth lurking behind Captain Blue’s production.
