Vietcong 2

Vietcong 2 is the next part of the million-selling Vietcong series and is set against the backdrop of the 1968 Tet Offensive in the Vietnam War. The gritty story, written by well-known authors, is based on accounts of Special Forces and infantry soldiers who were stationed in Hue during the attack. Based on these historical accounts, the player takes on the role of a U.S. captain who is assigned to accompany a war reporter covering the traditional New Year (Tet) celebrations during a ceasefire. Follow the course of the infamous Tet Offensive from the joyous New Year's celebrations in the U.S. camp, to the bloody conflict in 14 different locations, to the final push to retake the Imperial Palace and the city of Hue.
