Utawarerumono

Hakuoro, a man who wakes up in a small village in the mountains with severe injuries, no memory and a mask he can't take off. After being nursed back to health by Eruruw, the girl who found him in the forest, he begins to think of the village as his new home. But when an oppressive ruler threatens the peaceful lives of Hakuoro and his newfound friends and family, they are hurled into a war, chaos, and a destiny far greater than they could have imagined.
