Unreal Championship is essentially a console version of the PC game Unreal Tournament 2003, specifically designed to use Xbox Live, Microsoft's online gaming service. In 2003, Unreal Championship was included in Microsoft's "Platinum Hits" series of Xbox games. It was followed in 2005 by Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict, also for Xbox.
