UEFA Champions League 2004-2005

The Champions League, in which the player leads a team to the final at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul to replace FC Porto as European champions, is one of the available modes, but not the most important one. That honor goes to "The Season" mode, in which the player creates his manager avatar at the beginning and then completes a series of 50 missions. The first is a close game against a Champions League rival in the final week, it continues with the purchase of the club and increased expectations, and ends (hopefully) with the final of the Champions League. In this mode, players can also unlock additional features like balls, a stadium, and special exhibition modes by completing goals set by the club president during the season. Some of these are crucial matches (which can lead to dismissal if unsuccessful), while others are simply about balancing the squad. The other modes include the usual friendlies, "home and away" (a two-match friendly), scenarios (in which the player can create situations such as defending a 1-0 for 45 minutes while being outnumbered by two) and training.
