Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!
Woody has been stolen from the bedroom and is ready to be sold to the highest bidder by an evil toy collector. It's up to good friend Buzz Lightyear to fight his way from the bedroom to the outside world to rescue Woody from the toy market and bring him home. All the characters from the 3D animated movie appear in the side-scroller and help Buzz get to where he needs to be. Using his cannon, Buzz can jump to hard-to-reach places to collect the hidden coins that open bonus levels.
Story
The game's plot closely follows that of the movie and, like the movie, starts with the kidnapping of Woody by the evil collector Al McWhiggin in front of Andy's house. The game then follows Buzz Lightyear and his companions as they set out to rescue the captured cowboy. Along the way, they traverse the nearby neighborhood, Al's toy barn, Al's penthouse and finally the airport terminal and tarmac at the end of the movie.
