Story

In Gensou Ningyou Enbuu, the player travels through the realm of Gensoukyou, the main setting of the Touhou Project series, and has two tasks to fulfill: You must find a way to return home, and solve the latest incident that is shaking the very foundations of the realm: where do these newly discovered dolls come from? These dolls are based on prominent characters from the modern history of Gensoukyou, specifically every named character from Touhou 01: Highly Responsive to Prayers to Touhou 14: Double Dealing Character. You can catch them all, train them and fight with them against others as you move through Gensoukyou. On his way, the protagonist comes across an organization called the Puppet Liberation Front. Their goal is to free the puppets from their trainers and let them live unmolested by humans and youkai. You run to and from various locations in Gensoukyou: from the Hakurei Shrine to the sprawling Forest of Magic to the high peaks of Youkai Mountain and into the depths of the old capital and far beyond! Some of the prominent characters have their own puppet team and can even be used in battle when you meet them. For Touhou and Pokemon fans, there's plenty here to keep you hooked!
