Touhou Genso Wanderer

The original world of Touhou was created by ZUN, a one-man development team that has done the game design, scenario writing, programming, character design, and music production for more than 15 entries in this universe. He originally developed Touhou in 1996 to create his own game music. Thanks to the Play Doujin! scene that has developed around the series and spawned a variety of fan-developed games like Touhou Genso Rondo, the series has become a phenomenon.
