Use the power of a raging tornado and fight against the forces of evil to save the world! Dark forces have tricked you into believing that your destructive behavior will save an epic hero. In reality, you are working for evil. You take control of a dynamic tornado that races through open landscapes, spitting out everything in its path. The more you destroy, the bigger you become as you compete against time, collection and scoring challenges in search of hidden items and enemies from another world. Watch the debris fly as you leave a trail of destruction in your wake as you battle bosses and defeat the forces of evil. The world is your playground, tear it up!
Story
Tornado Outbreak follows a group of wind warriors led by Captain Nimbus. The Wind Warriors are a noble group of air elementals tasked with providing atmosphere on lifeless planets. Players take control of a blue, spiraling Wind Warrior named Zephyr, who has been chosen by Nimbus to take command of the Wind Warrior group. Along with Zephyr and Nimbus, the Wind Warriors discover the antimatter being Omegaton, who has had his six orbs of power stolen by his enemies, the Fireflyers. In return for his help in recovering the Orbs of Power, Omegaton provides the Wind Warriors with a light object amalgam device (L.O.A.D. STARR for short) that protects them from the deadly radiation of the sun. Towards the end of the game, it is revealed that Omegaton is from an upside-down dimension; a hero in space is a villain on Earth. The game ends with Zephyr, Nimbus and the Wind Warriors defeating Omegaton and returning to their homeworld, Harmonia.
