Top Gear Overdrive

In the main game mode, players race through six seasons, with each season featuring more races on more tracks and with faster cars. At the start of the race, players start at the back of the grid on the starting line. The computer opponents at the front of the grid often start after a third of the first lap. Players start with three nitrous oxide charges, which provide a temporary speed boost. There were shortcuts on each track, the use of which often determined the outcome of the race, especially in the later seasons. At the end of each race, players could make various upgrades to their car on a screen, for example, to its acceleration and handling. Players could also exchange their car for a better (or worse) vehicle and buy additional nitrous oxide for the next race.
