Tomb Raider: Legend

Tomb Raider: Legend is the seventh major game in the Tomb Raider series, developed for the first time by Crystal Dynamics together with the original character designer of protagonist Lara Croft. It serves as a reboot of the series with a new incarnation of Lara Croft. The typical third-person action adventure is still present, and Lara can move more freely as she is no longer restricted by certain jumps. On their journey through rough environments, players must run, dive, swim, climb poles, ladders and rooftops, use zip lines, shimmy and jump while performing acrobatic moves such as somersaults and flips. Players must traverse difficult terrain, solve puzzles to progress or open up new areas, and engage in battles.

Story

Lara is on a quest to find a South American relic, but her adventure takes a different course when rogue anthropologist Amanda Evert shows up. After an accident in a tomb in Peru, where Lara was the only one to escape, she and a team of graduate students were presumed dead. Amanda is back with a score to settle as they both race to find an ancient artifact along with the shady James Rutland Jr.
