The Wolf Among Us

The Wolf Among Us

The Wolf Among Us is a five-part series from the creators of the 2012 Game of the Year: The Walking Dead. Based on the award-winning comic book series Fables (DC Comics/Vertigo), it is an often violent, mature and hard-boiled thriller in which the characters and creatures from myth, lore and legend are real and exist in our world. As Bigby Wolf - the big bad wolf in human form - you discover that the brutal, bloody murder of a Fable is just a taste of a game series where every decision you make can have huge consequences.

Story

The Wolf Among Us is set in 1986, almost twenty years before the events in Fables. For years, many of the magical lands described in myths, legends and folklore (known as the Homelands) have been occupied by an enigmatic tyrant, the Adversary. To escape the Adversary's totalitarian regime, many inhabitants of the Homelands fled to colonial America and established an enclave called Fabletown, now located in modern Manhattan. In order to hide their presence from the native humans, all non-human Fables must acquire an enchantment known as "Glamour" that allows them to appear human, or they will be relocated to a rural community called "The Farm". An evolution of Telltale's groundbreaking choice and consequence gameplay mechanic will ensure that as Bigby Wolf, Sheriff of Fabletown, the player learns that life in the big, bad town is bloody, horrible and dangerous.
