Story

FEBRUARY 1938, LOS ANGELES FDR's New Deal finally gets rolling. Hitler is also on the march, this time via Austria. But as chief detective in a quiet small town on the outskirts of L.A., you have other things to do. A high-profile socialite is dead. And now it looks like a low-life crook is ripping off her millionaire old man. And then, unexpectedly, on this stormy February night, a rich but frightened man asks you for protection. Despite your best efforts, a death occurs and you have twelve hours to solve the mystery and arrest the killer - the blackmail turns ugly.
