The Riftbreaker

Story

You take on the role of Captain Ashley S. Nowak - you are the Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commander in a powerful mecha suit. You enter a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet at the end of the Milky Way, to establish a base that will allow you to return to Earth and continue colonization. Ashley's mecha suit, which she calls "Mr. Riggs," can withstand the harshest environmental conditions and has extensive equipment for building the base, mining resources, collecting specimens and, of course, combat. He is able to travel through rifts that connect space over great distances.
