The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is the first Zelda game developed exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. It is an indirect sequel to A Link to the Past, with the same version of Hyrule, but with new characters and gameplay elements. Unlike the tradition of the series, many areas of the world are accessible at the beginning of the game and dungeons can be visited in any order. Puzzles abound not only in the dungeons, but also in the open world, part of which revolves around the game's 3D visual effect. The 3DS's touchscreen display shows the world, the dungeon, or the map, depending on where you are.

Story

After capturing Princess Zelda and escaping through a rift into the parallel world of Lorule, the evil wizard Yuga plans to use the power of the Seven Magicians to resurrect the demon king Ganon. The young adventurer Link is called upon to restore peace to the kingdom of Hyrule and is given the ability to merge with walls after receiving a magical bracelet from the eccentric merchant Ravio, which enables him to reach previously inaccessible areas and travel between the worlds of Hyrule and Lorule.
