The Last Crown: Midnight Horror

Halloween: the veil between our world and the "beyond" is at its weakest. Witches celebrate Samhain, a Celtic festival of the ancient religion, summon the dead and communicate with the spirits. Nigel Danvers, a ghost hunter, knows all about the spirits that dwell in the darkness, and he's seen enough to convince himself that dark forces are at work. So why is Halloween so different? Nigel dusts off his old ghost hunting paraphernalia and gets to work. Something is haunting the guest rooms above the local waterfront pub, The Bear. Who or what is hiding in the shadowy corners of the old inn? What is the presence at the end of the harbor wall? Nigel has one night to find out before the veil returns to full force and Halloween horror is over for another year.
