The House of the Dead 4
The House of the Dead 4 is a lightgun arcade game with a horror theme and the fourth part of the House of the Dead video game series developed by Sega. The game is set between the events of The House of the Dead 2 and The House of the Dead III and introduced several new gameplay concepts. Players can control the character James Taylor from The House of the Dead 2 or Kate Green, a new character in the series. The House of the Dead 4 is the first game to run on the Sega Lindbergh Arcade System board. A PlayStation 3 version with support for PlayStation Move and the two stages from The House of the Dead 4 Special was released on the PlayStation Network on April 17, 2012.
Story
In 2003, veteran AMS agent James Taylor and rookie Kate Green are gathering intelligence in the fifth basement of the AMS's European headquarters. James suspects that the events of the 2000 Goldman case are still unfolding. A sudden earthquake shakes the room, collapsing the basement walls and trapping the agents. A few days later, while waiting for backup, James' PDA goes off; hordes of creatures appear on the security cameras. James and Kate arm themselves and escape. In a secret information room, they uncover a plan to launch nuclear missiles worldwide within 24 hours.
