The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures
The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures is the ninth part of the Ace Attorney series of text adventure video games. New game mechanics introduced to the series include the Deduction Dance, in which Ryunosuke must identify errors and oversights in Herlock's overflowing logic and uncover new facts, and the Summation Trial, in which players must point out inconsistencies between jurors' arguments to support the defendant's case and ultimately achieve a "not guilty" verdict.
Story
The game is set in the late 19th century during the Meiji period in Japan and the Victorian era in Great Britain. It tells the story of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an ancestor of Phoenix Wright, who together with a number of characters - including the local detective ace Herlock Sholmes - tries to find out the truth in the testimonies and clear his clients' names in court.
