The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve
The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve is the eleventh installment in the Ace Attorney series of text adventure video games. New game mechanics introduced to the series include the Deduction Dance, in which Ryunosuke must identify errors and oversights in Herlock's overflowing logic and uncover new facts, and the Summation Trial, in which players must point out inconsistencies between jurors' arguments to support the defendant's case and ultimately achieve a "not guilty" verdict.
Story
The game is set in the late 19th century, during the Meiji period in Japan and the Victorian era in Britain. It tells the story of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an ancestor of Phoenix Wright, who, along with a cast of characters - including local ace detective Herlock Sholmes - attempts to uncover the truth in witness testimonies and clear his clients' names in court.
