The Godfather
Action game from U.S. Gold, released in conjunction with the movie The Godfather III. The game begins in 1940s New York, but spans several decades, mirroring the events in the famous movie trilogy. Locations include Las Vegas in the 1950s where you wage a vendetta against feuding family gangs, a confrontation in Cuba, Miami in the 1970s and a final conflict in urban America in the 1980s. Fend off hostile gangs and manage to come to an agreement with all the rival families.
Story
In Little Italy in 1936, young Aldo Trapani witnesses his father Johnny, a Corleone family soldier, being killed by the rival Barzini family. Don Vito Corleone comforts Aldo and tells him that he will get his revenge when he is old enough and the time is right. Nine years later, in 1945, Aldo returns from World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. His mother Sarafina visits Vito during his daughter's wedding and tells him that Aldo has joined a disreputable group of young thieves. Vito sends Luca Brasi to find Aldo and recruit him for the family.
