Story

Mihama Academy - on the surface, a closed learning environment set up to nurture students who are struggling to cope with the world around them; in reality, a prison orchard built to preserve fruit that has fallen too far from the tree. Whatever the circumstances of its founding, Mihama Academy is currently home to five female students, all with their own reasons for 'enrolling'. For better or worse, each girl has adopted a routine that suits her current situation; life at Mihama Academy moves at a quiet but comfortable pace. But with the arrival of the institute's first male student, the almost absurdly obscure Kazami Yuuji, Mihama's female students begin to fall out of their predetermined rhythm. Will Yuuji prove to be the element the girls around him needed to take control of their lives again, or will the weight of their past prove too steep a wall to overcome? And most importantly, who is Kazami Yuuji really? While the true nature of the "job" he tends to do at the most random moments remains murky, one thing is certain - his intrusion into the tranquil orchard known as Mihama Academy will prove significant one way or another. And of course, one cannot rule out the possibility that Yuuji himself has the most difficult past of all the students...
