The Battle For Olympus was developed by Infinity and Radical Entertainment for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Nintendo GameBoy. It was released in 1988, a year after Zelda II was released. The game borrowed many concepts from the popular Zelda game and used different special weapons and tools throughout the game.

Story

Battle for Olympus takes place in ancient Greece, which is tormented by the ruler of the underworld - Hades. Orpheus, the main protagonist of the game, must rescue his girlfriend Helen from Hades. The game features various mythological creatures from Greek lore, including Cyclops, Centaurs and Medusa, as well as numerous Greek gods. Orpheus travels deep into the underworld with various improved weapons to defeat Hades, defeating numerous enemies along the way.
