Story
Welcome to Ascent Group's arcology, a self-contained, corporate-run metropolis that stretches high into the sky and is filled with creatures from across the galaxy. You play a worker enslaved by the corporation that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, when you get a routine assignment to use your abilities with a cyberdeck, you suddenly get caught in a whirlpool of catastrophic events. The Ascent Group, the largest megacorporation on the planet, is shut down for unknown reasons, causing the automatic security systems to go crazy. Your district's survival is threatened: rival corporations are trying to force appropriation, and crime syndicates want to boost their black market trade in augmentations. You'll have to take up arms to stop them from taking control and embark on a new mission to find out what started it all. You belong to the corporation. Can you survive without them?
