Tekken
Seventeen of the deadliest fighters in the world, explosive martial arts moves and wild special attacks. All of this is brought to life through super fluid animations that run at 50 frames per second (original description). Tekken is the first game in the Tekken series. It was released in Japan on December 9, 1994 and in arcades in Europe and North America on December 11, 1994. It was then ported to the Sony PlayStation on March 31, 1995 in Japan, November 7, 1995 in Europe, and November 8, 1995 in North America. The game received many positive reviews.
Story
A worldwide martial arts tournament is about to reach its finals. The fighter who can defeat Heihachi Mishima in the final round of the competition will receive a large prize money. The competition is sponsored by the giant financial corporation Mishima Zaibatsu. There are eight fighters left after winning death matches around the world, and the winner of the tournament will receive the title of "King of the Iron Fist". Only one will have the chance to defeat Heihachi and take home the prize money and glory. The player can choose one of these eight fighters at the beginning, each of whom has their own personal reasons for participating in the tournament, apart from the prize money.
