Submerged

Story

"Submerged" is a peaceful, combat-free exploration adventure set in a dystopian future where rising sea levels have flooded the world, and only the tallest buildings of a once-great city remain visible above the endless ocean. The story follows a young girl named Miku and her seriously injured younger brother, Taku, who find themselves adrift in these flooded ruins after fleeing their shattered home. Alone and desperately trying to save Taku, Miku seeks refuge on a towering clock tower and sets out in a small motorboat through the sunken cityscape. Her mission is simple but urgent: she must find the supplies she needs to tend to her brother’s wounds. Guided only by her wits, she rows between the half-submerged towers and climbs up crumbling facades to reach the aid crates left behind during the crisis. As she pieces together the puzzle of what has become of this place, Miku ventures deeper and deeper into the mysterious, waterlogged world—hoping to keep her brother alive.
