Streets of Rage 4

Streets of Rage 4 is a side-scrolling beat 'em up that continues the series after the original trilogy. Players fight their way through Wood Oak City with a mix of familiar and new characters, each with their own fighting styles and special attacks. The game builds on the classic formula and introduces new mechanics while retaining the responsive, straightforward action the series is known for. Featuring hand-drawn graphics from the team behind Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, it supports both single-player and co-op modes locally or online in multiple difficulty levels.

Story

Ten years have passed since the fall of Mr. X and his syndicate. Peace reigned in the city... until now. A new criminal empire has emerged to corrupt all that is good in the city. It is rumored to be led by Mr. X's own children: the Y twins. Former detectives Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding team up with their old friend's daughter, Cherry Hunter, and Floyd Iraia, a student of the brilliant Dr. Zan. Together, the four vigilantes take on the Y Syndicate on the... Streets of Rage.
