Story

Two years have passed since the end of the second Gemini War and the situation in the war-torn system is further from resolution than ever before. The alliance of freedom fighters called the Gemini League is now just a small group without power or influence after the loss of their leaders. The Empire, meanwhile, has used the reopened Starpoint to occupy the once renegade Gemini sector - and beyond. A multitude of Imperial war fleets and massive motherships have annihilated any trace of resistance. The situation looked grim when they suddenly halted their armada and refocused on fortifying Starpoint with staggering numbers. Rumors quickly spread that they were afraid of something from the supposed core of the Empire coming at them through the T-gate. What are they fleeing from that makes even the mighty Empire tremble?
