Spartan: Total Warrior

An action spin-off from the “Total Warrior” series. Take on the role of a powerful Spartan soldier and fight your way through hordes of enemies alongside allies in vast environments. Use extremely brutal special attacks to mow down entire groups of enemies in one fell swoop—with incredibly gory effects. The game features fast-paced, arcade-style, mission-based gameplay. In each mission, you must accomplish smaller objectives, such as killing enemy generals, escorting engineers to blow up enemy siege weapons, and preventing the enemy from advancing beyond your borders. The story unfolds through cutscenes shown between missions. Depending on how successfully you complete your mission, you’ll earn “tokens” that you can use to improve your character’s health, damage, or strength. The player can perform special attacks that are learned as the game progresses. Some of these special attacks draw their power from the Spartan gods, who assist the player in battle. As you play, you’ll find various weapons such as swords, bows, and spears—and, of course, shields.
