Space Shuttle: A Journey Into Space

"Space Shuttle" is a simulation game in which you play the pilot of the Space Shuttle Discovery. Your goal is to launch the Discovery, reach Earth’s orbit, open the cargo bay doors, retrieve a satellite for repair, and finally land the Discovery successfully—all while using as little fuel as possible. Each time the mission is fully completed, it repeats at a higher difficulty level (at higher difficulty levels, the satellite has a more unpredictable trajectory). The game is played from a first-person perspective inside the Space Shuttle’s cockpit, where you can control everything from the shuttle’s engines to the cargo bay doors. When the game is over, you receive a score based on the number of successful docking maneuvers and the amount of fuel consumed.
