Space Quest V: The Next Mutation

After traveling through time in the previous game, Roger Wilco is back at Starfleet Academy, serving as a cadet and janitor. After cheating his way through Starfleet's aptitude test, Roger is finally given the rank of captain, his own ship (a garbage freighter), and a mission: to explore strange new worlds (that no human in their right mind would explore), seek out new life and new civilizations (created from the vast amounts of garbage Roger will collect along the way), and boldly go where no human has gone before. Step by step, Roger must uncover a galaxy-wide toxic waste system, solve the mystery of the disappearance of a friendly Starfleet captain and his ship, and confront an agent of an old nemesis.
