Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco And The Time Rippers

May the farce be with you! Get ready for a trip through time with Roger Wilco, everyone's favorite intergalactic sanitation engineer and freelance hero. In their latest space opera, the Two Guys From Andomeda take science fiction (and just about everything else!) for a ride and will have you laughing out loud. Roger Wilco embarks on a whirlwind journey through space and time in this fourth chapter of the award-winning Space Quest series, Roger Wilco and the Time Travelers. From a nostalgic look at his past in Space Quest I to a terrifying visit to the future in Space Quest XII, Roger is on the run again. Hot on his heels are the Sequel Police, deadly, time-spanning assassins who want to put an end to Roger and his Space Quest nonsense once and for all. Once again, it's up to Roger Wilco to save the future - or is it the past? - of the Space Quest series and save the universe for fair play, bad jokes and many more Space Quest games to come.

Story

In this episode, Roger travels back in time through past and future Space Quest games. An infomorph of the reborn Sludge Vohaul from Space Quest XII: Vohaul's Revenge II chases Roger through time to kill him for good. Roger also visits Space Quest X: Latex Babes of Estros (whose title is a parody of Infocom's game Leather Goddesses of Phobos) and Space Quest I; in the latter, graphics and music return to the style of the original game, and Roger is threatened by a group of monochrome bikers who think Roger's 256 colors are pretentious. No part of the game takes place in Space Quest IV. In fact, the "actual" Space Quest IV is only briefly seen in the introduction.
