Story

Wei Shen, an American police officer and martial artist living in Hong Kong, returns to Hong Kong on a mission from the SFPD to infiltrate the Sun On Yee, one of the city’s most powerful triad organizations. He reunites with his childhood friend Jackie Ma and goes undercover as a low-level gang member in the criminal underworld, where he quickly gains the trust of local boss Winston Chu. As he rises through the ranks, Shen must maintain his cover while simultaneously passing information to his contacts in the police force—all while the Sun On Yee’s internal power struggles threaten to engulf everyone around him. Caught between his duty as a police officer and the bonds he forms with the very people he is betraying, the line between Shen’s identities begins to blur. When a brutal massacre tears the organization apart and triggers a war for leadership, Shen is drawn deeper and deeper into the violence and must ask himself whom he can still trust on both sides of the law.
