SkyDrift

In SkyDrift, players control one of several planes in a fictional racing competition. The gameplay is similar to other airplane racing games like Plane Crazy and Diddy Kong Racing's Flight Mode. The game features 33 single player challenge levels and online multiplayer. Although the focus is on racing, dogfights play a big role in some of SkyDrift's game modes. Players are rewarded with boosts that give them a temporary speed boost when they fly acrobatically, stay low to the ground, or take out opponents. The planes and their custom paint schemes are unlocked as players progress and complete certain challenges. As players progress along a certain route, they are sometimes confronted with progressive environmental hazards, such as falling rocks or an avalanche.
