Silent Hill

Silent Hill is the first part of the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike previous survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average person. The gameplay consists of fighting, exploring and puzzle solving. The controller's vibration indicates Harry's heartbeat and vibrates when his health is low. The player must periodically access an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items and equip various weapons.

Story

After Harry Mason wakes up unconscious after a car accident, his daughter Cheryl has disappeared. Harry sets out on a journey to the eerie town of Silent Hill to find her. When he comes across a cult performing a ritual to revive a deity they worship, Harry learns his daughter's true origins.
