Silent Bomber

Silent Bomber is an old-school style game set in the future. You'll play a character called Jutah Fate, a genetically modified human created by the government. You are an expert in handling bombs. At the beginning you can only place a few bombs at a time, but over time you can increase the number by collecting E-chips. It's a fast-paced game where the objective is to blow things up before they blow you up.
Story
The game begins with Jutah Fate, a war criminal, being drafted from his home planet of Hornet for a covert military operation. Seven years earlier, he was ordered to destroy an enemy stronghold, only to discover that civilians were inside. Due to the trauma of having to obey his orders, he is largely numb. The mission is to destroy a space cruiser called "Dante" that is threatening the planet. Also taking part in the mission are Benoit Manderubrot, a political criminal, Micino Tifone, a spy, and John Loss, an escape artist and member of an oppressed tribe. The operation is led by commander Annri Ohara. Upon arrival on the Dante, her ship is shot down by the Dante's anti-aircraft defenses. Everyone lands on the cruiser unharmed, but Jutah is separated from the group. During the course of the game, in which Jutah is tasked with destroying various parts of the Dante, Jutah and Annri begin to develop feelings for each other. Eventually, Jutah reaches the bridge of Dante, but finds that the crew has been killed by their own defenses. A hologram of Benoit appears, revealing that it was he who killed the crew, and that he has taken control of the ship and still plans to destroy the Hornet. After Jutah refuses to join forces with Benoit, Benoit attempts to kill Jutah by hurling him into space. He is rescued by his crew when Benoit seals off Dante. Jutah re-enters the ship and destroys Dante's powerful cannon in time to save Hornet. With the cannon gone, Jutah finds Benoit in the core of the ship and discovers that Benoit has bonded with Dante's AI. After the final battle, Benoit activates Dante's self-destruct system. Jutah tries to return to his ship, but his path is blocked and the others must leave without him. The game ends with Jutah visiting Annri in her house three years later.
