Sid Meier's Civilization V
Sid Meier's Civilization V is a turn-based strategy game in which the player leads a civilization from the Stone Age to future technology. There is more than one way to win, as you achieve one of several different victory conditions through research, exploration, diplomacy, expansion, economic development, government and military conquest. You'll compete against other civilizations, either online as other people or played by the computer. In Civilization 5 there is an advanced diplomacy system for dealing with computer-controlled civilizations or computer-controlled city-states.
