Sid Meier's Civilization III

Civilization III, like the other Civilization games, is about building an empire from the ground up, starting from the beginning of recorded history to the present day. The player's civilization revolves around a core of cities that provide the necessary resources to expand the player's cities, build city improvements, wonders and units, and advance the player's technological development. To succeed, the player must balance good infrastructure, resources, diplomatic and trade skills, technological advancement, city and empire management, culture, and military power.
