Shinobi
Shinobi is the long-awaited return of SEGA's popular series, bringing the classic side-scrolling action gameplay that players have loved since the original to Nintendo 3DS.
Story
The game consists of eight levels, each of which is divided into two sections and has bosses. The controls let you run, attack, jump and throw shurikens. A lock-on function is also available. The game also has a few hidden features, such as holding the attack while holding to perform a charging attack, double jumping and throwing shurikens to perform a shuriken burst, and a stun kick by pressing down while holding and attacking. The main objective of the levels is to kill. No items need to be fetched, but the ninjutsu scrolls are very useful, and in some levels Hotsuma must break stone pillars to advance. Shinobi also includes combo functions. When enemies are killed in a chain, a cutscene will play, killing all the enemies at once and leaving more yin for your blade. When Hotsuma kills with his cursed blade "Akujiki", the sword changes color to multiply the damage.
