Sheep

Sheep

Sheep is a combination of strategy and puzzle game with light elements of war or combat simulations, built around a crazy story in which alien explorers from outer space become domesticated sheep on Earth thousands of years ago. Now their ancestors try to capture them by secretly enlisting the help of two humans (Bo Peep and Adam Half Pint) and two animals (a sheepdog and a pet) through subliminal mind control. Players assume the role of earthly "shepherds" and guide the flocks through six worlds with multiple levels, eventually reaching a special rendezvous point where they are loaded onto UFOs to fly back to their homeworld of Ovis Aries. The sheep can't be controlled directly, so players must manipulate objects and obstacles and rely on the strengths of each shepherd to complete tasks. There are time limits in the levels and a minimum number of sheep that must be rescued from each flock.

Story

The basic premise of this game is that sheep were once intelligent beings from the planet Ovis Aries. These intelligent sheep sent a group of their species to Earth millions of years ago to learn about Earth's society and customs. Unfortunately, their ship was damaged on the journey and they were stranded on planet Earth. As the years passed, they forgot their mission and were soon domesticated by humans. Now their ancestors have returned to Earth to retrieve the lost sheep and stop the evil plan of the mad scientist Mr. Pear. To keep their presence unnoticed, they kidnap 2 humans (Adam Halfpint and BoPeep) and 2 dogs (Motley and Shep) and implant in them the desire and will to herd sheep like madmen. The goal of the shepherds is to drive as many sheep as possible back to Mount Mouflon and bring them to the sheep paradise Blue Hawaii.
