Shatterline
Shatterline is an arena FPS with a roguelike co-op mode (Expedition) as well as several traditional PvP modes such as TDM, Conquest, Plant-the-Bomb and Escort. Players can choose operatives and an arsenal of weapons that can be customized with attachments. The game is set in the near future, where humanity is faced with a threat of cosmic proportions. Players take on the role of the Immunes - carriers of an extremely rare genetic combination that enables their bodies to resist the alien plague.
Story
The year is 2028 and Earth is slowly being overrun by the Crystalline - a gigantic interstellar superorganism that is devouring planets and transforming living species in its image. This enemy cannot be negotiated with, nor can it be fought by conventional means. While humanity fears the cosmic plague, there are some who see it as a blessing. The Strafe Witnesses - an army of fanatics - want to subjugate the Crystalline and use it to raise themselves to the next level of evolution. Standing between hope and the end of the world are the Shellguard - a small group of people who are immune to the Crystalline. These lucky few are involuntary carriers of a rare genetic combination that gives them resistance to the alien taint. Only they can stop the Crystalline - or allow it to change our world forever.
