Shadowrun

Shadowrun is an action role-playing game. It is based on the cyberpunk role-playing game Shadowrun. The game is the second video game based on Shadowrun and has a more open gameplay style than its Super NES counterpart Shadowrun by Beam Software from 1993. The game is set in the Shadowrun universe in the 2050s. A time when the fusion of technology and human flesh is commonplace; it is the time when the Matrix, a vast computer network, went online, with the ability to log directly into its cyberspace. It was also a time of magical renewal: there was a phenomenon known as "The Awakening," in which magic returned to the world. Magic was possible again, and slowly and seemingly at random, humans began to transform into orcs, dwarves, elves, or trolls. This time of upheaval was not without political conflict: megacorporations began to control the world. But with their magic, native shamans threatened them, and the world's geography changed completely. The Native Americans and elves reclaimed an area called Salish-Shidhe, near the free city of Seattle, an important city in the newly founded United Canadian and American States.
