Scum aims to evolve the multiplayer open-world survival game with an unprecedented level of character customization, control and progression, where knowledge and skills are the ultimate weapons for long-term survival. SCUM combines the methodical planning and management of hardcore survival with optional PvP "network events" that are accessible to anyone at any time, creating a unique balance between complex simulation and intense action in the next generation of survival games.
Story
In a not-too-distant future where entertainment has become bloodthirsty, the powerful corporation TEC1 turns convicted prisoners into unwilling stars of the world’s most brutal survival show: SCUM. Stranded on a deadly island, the inmates must fight, hunt, craft, and outwit both each other and the horrors designed to keep viewers hooked. Every murder, every escape, every alliance, and every betrayal fuels the show and brings fame, sponsors, and the faint hope of survival. But on SCUM Island, freedom is never guaranteed, death may not be the end, and every desperate decision is part of the show.
