Salt and Sacrifice

"Salt and Sacrifice" is a 2D action role-playing game developed by Ska Studios and released in 2022. It is the sequel to "Salt and Sanctuary" and features a more open-ended, hunting-focused gameplay structure. Players take on the role of a “Marked Inquisitor,” whose mission is to track down and defeat powerful mages across interconnected regions.

Story

Beyond the refuge, a realm of elemental chaos awaits you. A once peaceful kingdom is plunged into chaos by a tide of mages: merciless embodiments of elemental chaos. The Marked Inquisitors, a doomed band of the damned, mobilize once more to stand against the existential threat of magic. A hidden secret threatens to bring ruin to an ancient empire. In a land plagued by powerful and twisted mages, the damned Marked Inquisitors take up the hunt. As an Inquisitor, you travel through the west of the land, pursuing, hunting and destroying the mages that roam the realm. You are bound to the Inquisition, but you are free to choose.
