Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII

KOEI invites PS2 strategy gamers to second century China with this eighth full release in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series. In keeping with the style of the series, this edition is set amidst the turmoil and chaos at the end of the Han Dynasty. As in the previous games, the ultimate goal is to reunite the divided nation, and players can take on the roles of various characters. Strategy players can take control of up to eight different characters in a single game. There are over 700 characters available, 100 of which are customizable originals. Other new features include the ability to have more than four forces clash on the same battlefield, and the ability to set the starting point of the game to any point in time in the 50-year period between the Yellow Turbans Revolt in 184 AD and the death of Zhuge Liang in 234 AD. Work your way through 54 scenarios and a fictional story featuring every officer in the game.
